Our flock of free-range vegetarian araucana hens create beautiful pastel-hued eggs that appear on your table as fabulous frittatas, scrumptious stratas, delicious Dutch babies, fluffy scrambles and as a sunny side up side dish. Never the same menu during your stay; you may be greeted with berry-topped heart-shaped waffles one morning, a veggie frittata the next, and stuffed French toast made with Humboldt Bay cracked wheat sourdough bread on the following morning.

The Capresso machine will grind and brew your morning coffee. We have a variety of teas and herbal tisanes from which you can make a selection, or opt for a hot chocolate. There is usually a choice of from two to four fruit juices, and always fresh seasonal fruit. We support the Arcata Educational Farm and their fresh organic produce often finds its way to our table. An assortment of breads is always offered.

Our dining room has west-facing windows overlooking the green pastures of the Arcata "Bottoms," the dunes, and weather permitting, a slice of the Pacific. The south-facing windows overlook the garden.
